THE RAW HAIR RITUAL
Once separated from its donor, raw hair requires absolute care. Here are the rules to preserve its shine and longevity.
PREPARATION & WASH
Always wash your extensions before the first installation.
Before washing, detangle the entire fiber. The use of shampoos and conditioners without sulfates or parabens is not an option, it is a requirement.
Detangling on wet hair should only be done while the conditioner is applied, from the ends to the roots, using a Wet Brush (essential for wavy and curly textures). Rich and creamy textures offer the best results on our Cambodian hair.
DRYING & MOISTURIZING
A deep conditioning treatment (rich hair mask) is required every two weeks to manually replenish natural nutrients.
After rinsing, gently pat to absorb excess water and apply a tiny amount of leave-in conditioner. Air drying is preferred. The use of a conventional hairdryer is prohibited: direct heat weakens the hair fiber.
THE DAILY RITUAL
Apply a very small amount of hair oil daily. Product build-up suffocates the hair, making it stiff and dull. For curly textures, a leave-in cream will control frizz.
Using a heat protectant is strictly mandatory before any heat styling. At night, wearing a silk or satin bonnet is essential to retain moisture and prevent friction.
CHEMISTRY & HAUTE DENTELLE
Coloring: If you wish to color your extensions, entrust this task to a professional colorist. Raw Hair does not tolerate chemical improvisation.
Closures & Frontals: Knot bleaching should be done by an expert. Limit direct brushing of the lace area to avoid weakening the knots and preventing premature shedding.
